PENNSYLVANIA MAN ALLEGEDLY DECAPITATES FATHER, POSTS GRAPHIC VIDEO ON YOUTUBE
A gruesome murder has shocked the community in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania, where a man is accused of beheading his own father and posting a disturbing video of the crime on YouTube.
According to reports, Justin Mohn, 28, was arrested on Tuesday night and charged with murder and possession of an instrument of crime with intent. The alleged victim is Michael Mohn, Justin’s 55-year-old father, with whom he shared a home.
Police responded to a 911 call around 7 PM on Tuesday, reporting a deceased man at the residence. Upon arrival, they found Michael’s lifeless body in the bathroom. His wife, Denice Mohn, placed the emergency call, but her whereabouts at the time and her current status remain unknown.
Justin Mohn is believed to have fled the scene after the incident but was apprehended hours later, approximately 100 miles away near a National Guard training facility in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The disturbing 14-minute YouTube video, which has since been removed by the platform, allegedly showed Justin Mohn displaying what appeared to be his father’s severed head in a plastic bag, as well as the decapitated head stewing in a cooking pot.
Investigators have not disclosed a clear motive for the heinous crime, but Justin Mohn’s online rants suggest he was angry with his father, a 20-year federal employee, whom he referred to as a “traitor.” The suspect also expressed his disdain for President Joe Biden’s administration, the Black Lives Matter movement, the LGBTQ community, and Antifa activists.
Justin Mohn was denied bail during his arraignment in court on Wednesday morning. The case has left the community in shock and mourning the tragic loss of Michael Mohn.
